Extended download is an extra fee to permit download that after the initial download window expires. Paying the fee is unnecessary if you take the prudent step of burning the download file to CD or DVD, along with a copy of the authorization code. If doing so, don't install from the file you downloaded to your hard disk. Instead, install it from the CD you made. That's the only way to test that the file you saved to CD will actually work in the future, should you need it. My CD/DVD writer has Lightscribe capability. I used that to burn the authorization code into the label. A magic marker works just as well. I also saved a copy of the authorization email on the CD, so it's always together with the install file. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL |

| What is the extended download? I don't remember exactly how I installed the last version, but I assume that you download the program file, and then you receive an authorization code when you make the purchase? I would hate to have to purchase another copy of Money 2007 when I just purchased it last year. I think you would need to have purchased the extended download if you don't have the install file. |

| I downloaded Money 2007 about a year ago, and I just had to reload Windows on my computer. I can access the directory where Money was loaded, but I need to download and reinstall it. I don't have the original authorization code however. Is there anyway to recover it or reinstall without it? |
