I'm confused. How can you have actual numbers in future months in
Money, unless you future-dated the transactions?

Thanks Chris,

I did export 2007 and just changed items in the current budget. I did not
start a new one. It looks like I should be okay but having actual numbers in
future months is confusing even though year to date 2008 does not.

If you want a snapshot of the 2007 budget you have to save it as such
and start a new one. But the only way to have a true static archive is
to export the 2007 Annual Budget report to Excel as CSV. If you save
2007 and create 2008, then reopen 2007, current scheduled bills are
reflected in the budget open at that moment. You can't change that.
Attempting to work around it diminishes the value of scheduled bills.

Default Budgeting for next year

I used the Advanced Budget for all of 2007. After examining income and
expense history I want to change some of the budgeted amounts for 2008. If I
change some of the fixed monthly amounts it will effect the results of my
2007 budget. Should I create a new budget for 2008 or just keep going?
