Since there haven't been any replies, I'll tell you that at least Money 2006 doesn't have any features that I know of to customize fiscal periods other than by custom reporting which you already know about. I think that is what you are looking for--that is to have each period conform to "your" calendar rather than operate on the standard monthly calendar. I believe that Quicken and Quickbooks have the same limitations while higher end accounting packages do let the user (usually a company) customize fiscal periods. Good luck, M |

| I am paid mid month, yet all my notifications; warnings etc. are all set against the calendar month, so I can't track my spend against my income. I have Money2003, so an old version. Are there new features in more recent versions to cater for mid-month alerts? For now, I have to use custom dates on my reports and do not use the budget and alerts. |
