Default Re: Money Won't Stop Updating

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. What worked for me was to
start Money and then immediately go to File / Repair Money File /
Standard File Repair. Apparently there was an error of some sort in
my online services log. After exchanging many (helpless) emails with
tech support, I tried this on a whim and it fixed the problem in less
than 5 minutes - without losing any data. Hope this helps.

mSame here, I also made a mistake in calling tech support. On the phone for 3
hours changing system files, resetting money files and only made things

I have to recreate everything, I would go to Quicken. The tech was an idiot
and would not esculate to level 2 support. I finally had to uninstall Money
Plus 2008, do a system restore to get my system back to the way it was, and
reinstall Money 2007 and restore Money backup data that I had on a flash
drive.

Default Money Won't Stop Updating

Greetings All,

I just upgraded from an older version of Money to Money Plus Deluxe and for
some reason everytime i log into the program the "Updating Your Accounts"
progress starts to immediatly run and will not stop. I select to sign in off
line and always have. Although I use MSN Bill Pay i do not have it linked to
Money, and never have. I have no accounts linked for the program to be
updating so i have no idea why the program continuse to do this. Even after
i close the application it will continue to run and will not re open until i
kill the process.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Scott
