Then open Money by double-clicking the *.mny file from within Windows Explorer. However it would be wise to copy a few of your latest *.mbf files over too, in case you get media failure. |

| Hi Rod, Install money on your laptop and open it. Copy your money file from desktop to a location on the laptop. In money, click File, then click Open, in the Open dialog window navigate to the above location, select it and click Open. Money should now display all your financial records. | Retail licenses are allowed desktop+laptop installation under specific circumstances. That should not be an usse, I recommend against backup/restore. Just copy the data file and open it.
