| Re: money98 on Xp sp2 2 quick possibilities exist: 1) If Money will not run or install, I would assume that when you installed money 2005 over 98 that MS Money updated some money related dll's. You are now in the position that you will need to remove those dll's prior to getting money 98 to correctly run. 2) If Money runs but can not open your file, then probably you did not correctly change back your money data file to use the old money 98 data file. The money file from 2005 will no work. You should have a backup file in the form of file_name.mnn where nn is the number assigned to 98 (sorry do not remember) the file file_name.mny will be the money 2005 file which can not be read by money 1998. "it doesn't work" it's that i clik on "setup.exe" and nothing appear in task manager appear ntvdm.exe that use cpu for nothing. i know that money 98 is a 16 bit program, but it's strange because until 2 days ago.. i can use money 98 on the same machine. it seems that only setup.exe doesn't work correctrly. i've tryied to copy all files from cd to HD but it's the same thx |
