| You might try it with the hyphens (use the full string), it worked when I copied the full string into the first box. I had the same problem and I'm using Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition (the font and style look different from the standard XP version). This problem occurs if you have Windows set to use "Large Fonts"> entire product key (without any hyphens) into the first box, but it still > said my key wasn't valid. Any other suggestions? (has their font display size set to some larger DPI setting) Workarounds (either one should resolve it): o Temporarily change back to Windows' "default" font size o Copy the entire key (dashes included) and Paste it into one of the fields (any of them) in the Activation dialog ================================================== See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941425/en-us activation FAQ |

| Was your key not fitting in the boxes before you tried pasting it all into one box? That fix has worked for everybody who was having that problem. I'm wondering if you are having some other problem. | I'm having the same problem, but your fix did not work for me. I entered the entire product key (without any hyphens) into the first box, but it still said my key wasn't valid. | Copy all the letters and paste them into the first box. This is a "known issue" with users who run with non-standard system font size. | I was trying to install Money Plus Delux which I suppose went fine, but when I tried to enter the product key to register within the requisit # of days the numbers and letters didn't fit in the boxes. If anyone has had this issue, please let me know. I would certainly like to start the new year without setting fire crackers off in my computer.. thanks |
