probable that the version of Money you installed is earlier than
your backup file that you think comes from Money 2003.

did set it up to require the same password to open it up after re-installing,

I've only ever used one password!!
Can you help? I need to restore all my information. I basically use Money
as a checkbook balancer, and I have 3 bank accounts I use regularly by
downloading the banking info direct from my bank's website. I'm talking
about years of deposit and withdrawal entries.... Help!!
