| That's too bad. Having just switched from Quicken, I'm finding several pretty elementary things that Quicken does that Money doesn't. The ability to schedule updates is one of them. Among the others are: * After downloading transactions using Online Update, the ability to move from one account that needs reviewing to the next account that needs reviewing without having to go back to the account list. * Automatically populating account information in the important records (I think that's what it's called) section. Quicken does this. Money makes you key in everything even if the information exists elsewhere in Money. No. You could turn off background banking, and click> Is there a way to schedule when online updates (cash & credit card account > transactions, investments, etc.) occur? to UpdateNow. One way to UpdateNow is Tools-> InternetUpdates-> UpdateNow. On Tools-> InternetUpdates-> CustomizeUpdates there is a checkbox to control whether Automated Online Updates (Background Banking) is turned on. Don't forget to click OK at the lower right when done. |
