Hi, Check out this webpage, it may help you with your OFX file problems. It also provides two editors (MnyBank and MT2OFX) for poking OFX files.

The error message was that the OFX file could not be read. However, I just reinstalled the product again and... the OFX import now works...!! Beats me... Oh well, I won't try to understand. Are you getting an error message, or what? One problem is that the OFX could be for currency CAD, and the account is in USD.

I had the Canadian version of Money 2004. It was working just fine, until it gradually stopped updating my investments and, finally, it would not even let me open my Money file. I could still import my OFX banking transactions in Money 2004, however. Figuring my 2-year online update period was up and guessing that there is no Canadian version anymore, I bought Money Plus Deluxe (2007 or 2008? Unclear...) from the Microsoft.com US site and downloaded the product. I was then able to open my converted Money file with the new product version and update my investments. That was great, but I was no longer able to import my OFX banking transactions. I tried the 8 methods Microsoft recommends for fixing the problem, including reinstalling the product, to no avail. Has the OFX file format changed in Money since 2004, or is there a different OFX format in Canada that can't be imported in a US version of Money? Thanks for your help! -- ________ LL
