| Jon - I experienced the exact same problem with Fidelity, and the following steps worked for me: 1) First disable automatic downloads of Fidelity Statements. (Customize Updates... then set Fidelity Investments to "Never".) 2) When manually doing a download (Update Now), only download from Fidelity at most once per day, and as far from midnight as possible. Cal is right that there is an issue with downloading info from Fidelity very late in the day and very early in the morning. Multiple downloads a day seem to screw things up as well. Not sure if this will work for you, but good luck. I wish the Fidelity downloads were as robust as some of the others. | I have been experiencing this exact same issue (without manually downloading in the wee hours of the morning). That said, I have money download transaction info automatically once a day - perhaps it is choosing to do so near midnight. As a test, I'm going to turn off automatic downloads of Fidelity data, and then try it manually *once* per day. If anyone else is experiencing this issue or has found a solution, please post! Thanks, Reddog "Jon R" wrote: - quote - > "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: > > In microsoft.public.money, Jon R wrote: > > > > > > > > "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: > > > > > > In microsoft.public.money, Jon R <Jon R[at]discussions.microsoft.com> > > > wrote: > > > > > > > > I have had a problem that has been reoccurring since I added the account to > > > > > my file. Then by creating a NEW file the missing transactions download is also a little goofy. Which leads me to think something is wrong in my current Money file. If this is a "bug" that there is no fix for or no one else is having problems with its not the end of the world. Figured this would be the one place someone might have run across it if at all. I can attempt to export all accounts into a new file to see if I am having the same problem still. |

Can you say that you did not download around 00:30 EST in the wee hours of 12/19 or 9:30PM PST on 12/18? In any case, if you are missing a transaction, enter it by hand. It can happen. |

| I have had a problem that has been reoccurring since I added the account to my file. What happens is that there are days that Money does not download transactions from Fidelity even though there are new transactions that are available for download. I can go and create a NEW money file and the transactions that did not download now download into this new money file so I assume the problem is with my current money file?? I have done both quick and standard repairs and neither seem to fix it. This is no rhyme or reason that I can find as to when transactions do not download. Any fix for this? Last thing that I want to do is start with a new Money file as I have multiple other accounts in this file and do not want to have to recategorize everything, set up budget again, etc.. Thanks for any and all help and suggestions. Jon |
