That's the problem. As Cal explained, a 'reinvest dividend' is a> section > that is reporting wrong, the investment transactions' total all > match the > portfolio in Sharebuilder. combination of receiving dividend income and buying the shares as reinvestment. Having both a dividend and a reinvest dividend duplicates the dividend income. The residual income stays in the cash account, causing the balance error there. You have to either delete the dividend transaction or change the reinvest dividend to a simple buy. If your broker reports them as separate transactions, take the latter approach. Put 'reinvest dividend' in the memo as a note to yourself. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL |

But it is only the Cash section portfolio in Sharebuilder. |

| In my sharebuilder account within MS Money, everytime I make a dividend and have it automatically re-invested, Money doesn't remove the value from the cash transactions. So Money reports the principal investment + DOUBLE the dividends. So, I end up with results like $1,008.44 instead of $1,004.22. Does anyone know what's going on? |
