Thanks Dick, for the reply, yes I had reinstalled Money link. However I
have since discovered the excel stock add in (msnsq.exe) which adds a
function to excel (2002,2003 and 2007) which directly obtains the data from
the web and enters the data into the spreadsheet without the need for the
money program. I found the information thru
http://www.vertex42.com/ExcelTemplat...ck-quotes.html (the second
item on that page)

cheers

Did you re-install MoneyLink? Did you check that it's enabled in the Excel
Add-ins? MoneyLink has always been Money-version specific--but seems to work
across a pretty broad range of Excel versions.

Default money link to excel

I have been using moneylink add in for transferring stock prices from
Money2001 to Excel 2000.
I am now in the middle of updating, and have Money2001 successfully running
on Vista and it automatically updates the stock price in my portfolio in the
Investing Centre. However I am yet to figure out how to get the data into
Excel 2007 (Office Professional).
Any advise appreciated. Is their a similar addin ?? for Excel 2007
