yes I agree, MS Money and I would go further to say it has not done anything
substantial to fix the problem. I say this because I have seen the
resolution that they do recommend but it has not fixed the problem. My
guess is the categories do have something to do with it. i have played with
it enough, and the only way to get it to work is rebuild the MS Money files
from scratch. New install, new data, new categories, everything. I have
also found that this is the way to enable the Advanced Categories.
unfortunately the kb fixes do not work, and they will not ever work in all
occasions. too bad.
would'nt it be nice if they allowed you to see the actual tables it creates,
and be the master of your own data?

I'm using Microsoft money Plus Deluxe. I've put in my income and
assigned it the category of 'Salary'. For some reason though, in the
budget summary, it is showing income categories of 'salary' and
'uncategorized income'....my salary entry is showing up in BOTH of
them, causing the budgeting tool to show twice the income that I
actually have. I cannot figure out how to get this to work. i've
removed and re-added the entry, re-done the categories, etc. Still no
dice.

Is money just a piece of buggy garbage, or is there something simple
that can be fixed?
