Dividend and Buy combo should give the same performance as
ReinvestDividend. So I would not change those. If your Dividend day
is showing the -20% figure then it is a transient deficiency of the
quote service. With the Dividend or ReinvestDividend transactions in
place, the TR columns (covering 1 week and longer periods) should be
accurate.

So when I download cap gain/ dividend info
from Fidelity into Money and it appears as
1. Dividend
2. Buy
( that's how it comes - not as REINVEST),
that's not the same ( return-wise) as reinvested div/gain ?

Thanks I'll have to correct my past entries

Enter a ReinvestDividend or other Reinvest*Gain transaction(s) as
appropriate.

Default Fund performance gets munged when goes Ex-Div

Anyway to correct "return info" after a fund pays cap gains/Divs?

For instance:
http://moneycentral.msn.com/detail/s...e?symbol=OAKIX
today shows 20% 'loss', when it pays out distributions.
It's really just reinvestment for me , but my reports show it as worst
perfomring fund I've got.
