I'm not sure there's ever a place in the market for a loan like this. Seems
a lot like renting the house from the bank unless one assumes that house
values will always outstrip inflation and real interest rates both
assumptions of which are proven every five or six years to be bogus over the
long haul...

Oh, and Money has always had support for these as noted in Cal's post. It
just doesn't have a big dialog box asking if that's how you want to set it
up and then hiding the details from you.

You will frequently find that an advanced search of newsgroup
microsoft.public.money at http://groups.google.com will find answers to
questions that have been asked previously.

In answer to your subject, to create an interest-only loan, enter
the balloon amount equal to the principal.

Default How do I enter Interest Only ARM Mortgages into Money PLus

Don't worry I am not one of the problems in the market today. There is a
place in the market for these types of loans (and not to live in a bigger
house).

If someone can let me know how I would enter this type of mortgage payment
into Money I would greatly appreciate it. It has been a lacking feature of
the software package for a while now. I expected that this would be taken
care of in the latest version- given that almost a third of all loans are of
this type. Your help is appreciated!
