| Hi Ed if you mean recreate the bill so that it puts in 'Calculated' in the split entries for principal and interest, then this can be done via the debt reduction planner (see http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/76.aspx). -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money http://money.mvps.org See http://money.mvps.org/faq/default.aspx for tips and fixes for MS Money. | Enter a Bill for category Loan Payment : [name of Loan Account]. It should finger out what it needs to line up with the payment terms for that account. As to the question you pose in the subject, your guess is as good as anybody's. What does the historic trend indicate to you? | My money file gets slower and slower every year (started in Money 95 and have used every version since then) and have confirmed the problem in my inability to easily view the "Spending tracker" in Money Plus is because the bills are somehow messed up in the background - they all seem to work fine for payment, cash flow, etc. Spending Tracker totally chokes though, taking 2-3 minutes to show up. If I clear out all bills using the "Repair Money, Remove All Bills" it works fine. But after wasting about an hour putting stuff back in, I ran across my mortgage. It seems the "remove all bills" breaks the mortgage altogether. In the "Bill section" of the loan setup, there is nothing but the date of the last payment. There is no way that I can see to recreate the bill that auto-calcs principle and interest, short of deleting and recreating the loan, which is ridiculious. MS should provide a function in Money 2009 that legitimately fixes whatever the schema problem is in the Bills section instead of just wholesale whacking your bills. -- __________________________________________________ ________________________________ Ed Hansberry (Please do *NOT* email me.
