Default Re: 401(k) total contribution?

I followed the Money sample file, in which the
contribution is TRANSFERED to the "401(k) account" instead
of putting it to a "contribution category". So any report
using category won't show the total contribution. I tried
to put the contribution to a "contribution category"
instead of "transfer to 401(k) account", it gave me a
total contribution in negative and messed up the 401(k)
transactions. Humm..

Have you tried customizing the account transactions report?
Customize the account and category.

Default 401(k) total contribution?

Dose anybody track your 401(k)? I want the Money report me
the total contribution and the current account value, so
that I would have a glance of how much I gain or loss
compare to my total contribution. The Money gives me
report of everything except the TOTAL CONTRIBUTION.
Anybody knows how to get this report or the Money just
simply dose not have such function? I thought that
reporting a total contribution is a very essential task
that a finance program should have. Can anybody give me
some answer?

Ps. some people suggested me to see the Cost Basis. But I
think that the Cost Basis is different from the Total
Contributions. The Cost Basis is the sum of all the
purchase, including the cost of using contributions to
purchase funds, and the cost of moving one fund to another.
