Default RE: Debt Reduction Planner creating random payment amounts

I found this in a 2004 post and it worked for me in my 2008 version:

First, reset the DRP--Tools, Settings, Planner Options (or Tools, Options,
Planner in 2004 and prior(planner settings in 2008)), and click Reset Plan.
Then add the account back
into the DRP. Since your DRP will begin 11/1, if you have any payments due
prior to that date, those amounts will be added into the first payment
unless you check the box that indicates that these bills have already been
paid when you setup the plan.

Default RE: Debt Reduction Planner creating random payment amounts

I think I may have figured it out...

I adjusted the next payment date out a month and told it the payment had
been made for each account. Now it shows no payments for December and then
the correct ones for January. Maybe it is because we are at the end of the
month? Makes no sense, would love to know why...

Default Debt Reduction Planner creating random payment amounts

The debt reduction planner has all the correct values and all of the
accounts. The minimum payments and required payments, interest rates etc are
all set up correctly. My problem comes when I go to view the monthly payment
schedule it has scheduled a HUGE payment to one of the bills rather
arbitrarily. I do not have a one time payment chosen at all. If I put the
montly allocation for debt to say 1,500, my minimum payments each month are
350, it show a payment of 8,000 for the first month on one bill and then the
1,500 each month after that.

I don't remember this happening in the past, what am I missing here...

Thanks!
