What I did in such a case was to change the match transaction range from the
default of 60 days (which is where you ended up only going back to beginning
of Oct) to 360 days which would allow you to go back to January. This is
found in the online service settings. Afterwards I set it back to 60 days.

Another way to handle it is to change the date on the unmatched check to be
near the date it was cashed. After you have matched it, then you can either
change the date back or just leave it where it is.

You could try changing that check to un-reconciled. Right-click the
transaction.

Default Match old transaction

Hi, someone just deposited a check I had written in January. When I
download from bank it comes back as unmatched. I click "change" but the
transactions that come up only go as far back as the beginning of October.
Is there any way to match this recently downloaded transaction to this old
item in my register? Thanks.
