FYI: Bill Gates income is a lot more the $1/second. Even assuming that
every waking and asleep moment of your life is wasted by Microsoft, you will
never catch up to him.

I would first see if File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair fixes
that. If not, try making a repaired version of your file with
File-> RepairMoneyFile-> StandardFileRepair level 2.

100 stock split on 3/2/2006, however Microsoft would not let me overide that
with a 1 rof 1 giving me an error about lack of disk space. I did not bother

If I had a dollar for every second of my life Microsoft has wasted I'd be
well on my way to having as much money as Bill Gates. This is the last PC
with MS operating sytem and software I ever intend to put up with.

Thanks for the help. Youv'e done far more than MS has ever done for me,
short of thier requests for me to pay them to fix thier problems.

I would reboot the computer and try again. If the problem continued,
I would consider making a repaired version of your file with
File-> RepairMoneyFile-> StandardFileRepair level 2

I have similar problems with 3 stocks. The stocks: Disney (DIS) showed a
101:100 split on 6/13/07; Hospital Properties (HPT) 106:100 on 2/1/07;
American Express(AXP) 113:100 on 10/3/05.

The suggested fix worked for DIS and HPT. I got an insufficient memory error
when trying to fix AXP.

Any other ideas? I'm using Money 2007.

There are some shares with bogus splits in the data stream from the
new quote provider. Your first indication on download is that a
new difference, between what your register shows and what the
broker statement shows, may appear during download processing.

To work around this, look at the split history for a stock. Go to
the investment PriceHistory. UpdatePrices-> UpdatePricesManually,
Look through the table and find the entries in the Source column
that say "Stock Split". The first split, going back in time, will
be identifiable by the quotes being suffixed with an 'S' for the
price. The first may not be the bad one.

Note the date of the bad split. It is not necessary to delete it
at this point. Click Close. Then UpdatePrices-> RecordASplit.

Record a split for the date you noted as a 1 for 1 split. Accept
that you are overwriting the existing split. That should inoculate
you to a re-download of the bad split for that date-- at least for
some versions. Let us know how that works out for you. You might
want to post the symbol for the stock and the date of the bad split
data.

Default Undo a stock split

Somehow a stock in my portfolio is showing a stock split...while I don't
remember doing it...so it was by error probably, now I would like to undo the
error, any suggestions. I figured out how to get the correct number of
shares in the portfolio, but the transaction still shows 's' after the price.
Any sugestions?
