Money 2007 will work fine with Vista. You will need to install as
Administrator, and run once as Administrator, and reboot.

Sorry for above reiterative posting--not easy to use this interface, for me
anyway.

Cal, this thread has been very helpful for me. I'm buying a new computer
with Vista, and want to reinstall Money 2007 to the new machine and move my
data over to it. Will the version of Money 2007 I downloaded to my current
XP SP2 machine work on Vista, or should I just buy the newest version of
Money and forget about it?

Thanks for your valuable assistance. As Ewl comments, all MS online support
is virtually useless.

Thanks! I redownloaded it from Digital river. I guess I paid for the
extended download service. I've installed it on my laptop now. Will reboot
and complete the installation after I finish my current work.
MS doesn't make it easy. The online documentation is useless. Their Faq
is useless. I can't find anything useful on their web site!
Appreciate your help. I probably would have broken down and send MS more
money if you didn't remind me how to download it again!

You need to run the file downloaded from Digital River to install
rather than the trial install. Search for Money_Plus_Deluxe*.exe on
your desktop computer. It will be about 35.5 megabytes.

You may also be able to re-download this from Digital Space. Go to
http://www.findmyorder.com and enter you order number (or
credit card info for card used to purchase) to find out your
options. There is a limited time that you can re-download.

Default RE: Moving MS money 2007 deluxe to another computer

Just to clarify. The trial version is on my laptop now which will still
expire in several months. Both my laptop and desktop use win xp. So the
data transfer seems ok but the laptop's money is still the expirable trial
version. Thanks for help.

Default Moving MS money 2007 deluxe to another computer

I am trying to move my MS money 2007 from my desktop to my laptop which is
more convenient. I tried a suggestion I saw posted which was downloading
2007 trial version and then using my backup money file. The conversion
worked. However, I am still listed as having a trial version.
I hvae upgraded several times with the online downloaded version.
The versions are somewhat different. The trial one on my laptop is
16.0.10.1303 and my version on my desktop is 16.0.120.1303. Any suggestions?
Obviously I can purchase a full version but I have paid my share to
microsoft already.
My data seems to have migrated over correctly.

Appreciate any help.
