Default Re: Money Plus problem

Try this first.

I had the same problem upgrading from Money 2005 to Money Plus. Everything
worked fine, except for the fault when downloading transactions from my
bank.

The "nuke the bills" option fixed it. I believe the problem is caused by the
difference in the way scheduled bills are handled -- 2005 & earlier allowed
only payments and deposits to be scheduled. You could put credit card
payments and so forth, but there wasn't a specific "transfer" option when
creating a new scheduled transaction.

After nuking the bills, I just added them back as they came in over the next
month. It was pretty painless, and transaction matching is much improved
over previous versions.

HTH,

Susan

See if http://support.microsoft.com/kb/942485 applies.

Otherwise , if you bought Microsoft Money Plus, go to
Help-> AboutMicrosoftMoney, and write down the Serial number. Go to
http://support.microsoft.com/money and proceed from there. After
clicking Money Plus, note the Contacts item which will lead you to
"Contact a Support Professional by Email, Online, or Phone."

Let us know what fixed it.

Default Money Plus problem

I recently upgraded to Ms Money Plus Deluxe from Money 2005. My old
money file got converted to new money with no issues. I use money for
online banking with two banks. With one bank I have no issues
downloading my statements, transcations etc. However when I try to
download transactions from other bank, I get error message "Money has
encountered a problem. Program will be closed." When I acknowledge the
message, money closes. I tried to create a new money file & tried to
download transcation from this bank, still same problem. Need help.
