| The files will end up in the same directory as your currently opened Money file. I will admit that I had not verified it would work under Money Plus. I just have verified it. 1) start Money 2) change the registry entry (it will remain in effect for the session) 3) download your Fidelity 4) checking the directory for your money file you will see several txt files such as FidelityNetbenefits xxxxxxx RQ.txt FidelityInvestments xxxxxxx RQ.txt FidelityNetbenefits xxxxxxx RS.txt FidelityInvestments xxxxxxx RS.txt The RQ's are the initial request information and the RS's are the details that are merged into your account. You will see a pair for every account you have at Fidelity. | There are frequent transactions. Deposits, buys, sells, cashing moving back and forth from a money market fund that looks like a stock ticker. I typically only fire Money up very early in the morning (6am), so I'm not convinced that this is the same problem. I added the key (it didn't exist) only I changed it to 17.0. Where can I find the logs? | I would assume that you are buying and selling within your 401k account. Fidelity has the habit of placing entries in the account to note that the cash is in hold for the future (this evening purchase), later the purchase goes through and the cash account "hold" is removed. I found this was occurring within my account. After Ron Rosenthal commented last May about this same thing I quit forcing a download from my account until after 2am ET. The problem went away. If you want to look at what Fidelity is downloading then change the following registry key at the start of you money session and all downloads will be saved for you to view. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Money\16.0\On line] "FLogProviderData"=dword:00000001 Art "Randy" <banjolicious[at]netscape.net> wrote in message news:uGkgKHRLIHA.4684[at]TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... - quote - > I use Money Plus to automatically download info from my brokerage 401k > account at Securities America. | I use Money Plus to automatically download info from my brokerage 401k account at Securities America. I noticed today that the balance on the cash account is WAY off. Looking back over the last couple of months, there are entries in list like: From: Account Adjustment Memo: Cash account withdrawal for 401(k) or 403(b) investments for some fairly substantial amounts. Some deposits, some payments. When I look at my account on the brokerage website, those transactions are not there. Whats making Money do this? |
