Default Split categories problem

I have a bill with split categories. I set the categories when I pay the
bill. When the bill is paid and the charge is downloaded to my checking
account, Money changes the split categories to the "matched" transaction.
Even if I click "change" and "Don't match", the split categories have been
changed to the "matched" transaction.

This is getting quite old having to enter the split categories twice for
each bill multiple categories.

Any suggestions?
