No. Direct Services is a means for you to retrieve data from yourbank. It connects directly from your computer to the server provided by the bank for that purpose. Background banking is a means of automatically updating/downloading that and similar data periodically in the background without your having to click a button to make it happen. | Background Banking Is "Background Banking" and "Direct Services" the same thing. Microsoft has all these banks listed online that provide direct services but yet, whenever I email them, they say that no, I have to download an OFX. Why is it so hard to find banks that support Money background banking? I use US BANK, which has and does support it, but finding other banks in my area seems impossble. |
