| Everything has failed. This one is hard to understand. I install software regularly (including VB.net and DevStudio, etc.) and have never had any problems. I'm going to have to look elsewhere, which will be tough. I know I don't want Quicken, and there just isn't much else out there to choose from. Thanks for your help, Cal. | I had a momentary lapse on the "clean boot." And you're right, it didn't work either. I have a distinct, gut feeling that I would encounter the same error trying to install from a CD. I like MS products, have quite a number of them running on this system, but I guess I'm going to have to look elsewhere for personal financial management software. Thanks for all your help.
