Background Banking Continually Fails on Vista

Thanks much, I'll try that. I away from my home PC as I'm on vacation, but

It may be a DEP issue...

Mine never actually connects, sits and spins while trying, and is
completely unusable unless and until it times out. I've waited over
an hour this time and it's still not usable, just sitting there saying
"Updating your accounts". I've never even set up online updates. I
can't find a place to turn it off. I hate this product so much, I
can't even begin to tell you. $50 down the fucking drain.

Folks,
I've installed Money Plus as an upgrade to Money 2007. I get a continual
failure after any update activity where Microsoft Background Banking has
stopped working. I'm not even sure what this is breaking, but it's a new
error and I've found no documentation at all on what may be causing it. I
checked my Windows Firewall, and have made sure MoneyPlus is allowed through.
I'm checking into my AV program too to make sure it's current.
Thoughts?
