Default tracking exchange rates

Running M2005. While one can set a single currency exchange rate, it
does not appear that Money supports exchange rate histories? Is that
correct? If my base currency is US $ but I have both US $ and CAD $
assets, it would be nice to know how the change in the USD/CAD rate
over the past year has impacted my networth as a function of time.
