I am in India and I use Money 2004 (US edition) for my everyday use. Except
for few exceptions, i can easily track my accounts, transactions and
investments. It is better than having nothing.

I don't think your experience is typical. Many users get downloaded
information more or less successfully. Others of us, myself among them, do
not mess with the downloaded information thing in the first place.

Have you considered the possibility that your FI does not want you to get
the data any way besides logging into their website where they can make sure
you see their ads?

Deluxe is fine for most people. Premium adds some features of slight value
to some and large value to others. If you do not have a business need, do
