As there is a sustained obligation and, possibly, the terminal paymentis different than the others, consider making it a scheduled bill with finite term. If the terminal payment is different, you can either create that separately or edit a single payment in the schedule. In my experience it's easier to make the series duration short by 1, then schedule a separate one-time payment as the terminal payment. That's because, should you want to edit the scheduled series for some reason, it complains that individual payments are already edited. Any edits must apply globally to all, or you have to apply them to every single instance. If you apply it globally, it over-writes your terminal payment. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL |

| It's just a straight Bill or maybe a Liability account. "Pieter" <alias[at]newsgroup.nospam> wrote in message news:FFA4DE21-3FD4-4761-A7C8-91A3A0E62E81[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > How do I configure a lease account for my new car? |

| For my other car I have a regular loan and a loan account and an associated asset count. Since there is no direct interest rate, and the payments do not really go towards buying an asset, I am uncertain how to setup a vehicle lease acount. How do I configure a lease account for my new car? Regards P. |
