Cal
Sorry to leave it so long replying, but my mail provider hid the message
saying you had responded to my query and I have only just found it.

The problem occurs when I select the "Investing" pull down menu and then
select "Saving" from the list displayed. I do not think I have ever tried to
use this before.
It crashes money using my money file, but works with the sample money file.

I don't understand what you meant by that sentence.

I hope you are saying you no longer crash when you access your
actual file, but I fear you meant that you were able to use the
Sample.mny file to do what still crashes your actual file.....

And what is "investing/saving"?

I do not believe I have ever used this facility before.

I have copied the Sample.MNY file to my documents, where my normal money
file is kept, and it all works Ok

Consider your backup file situation.

If you copy your Sample.mny file from the install folder to your
Documents folder can you open that file?
