One possibility is to run a little utility to modify the .qif file> want to operate with a MM/DD/YYYY date format and this is using > DD/MM/YYYY. before you import it. Another workaround is to switch your computer to mm/dd import and process your .qif, and then switch it back. You might want to experiment using a copy of your Money file. The good thing would be to find that AMEX Canada supports OFX, but I don't know about that. - quote - > This was all working 3 weeks ago. Any idea what may have changed (I
I don't see that passport is remotely involved in this case.> think I re-connected to passport, could this have done something?) |

| Something has recently changed that is not allowing me to import American Express QIF statements anymore (from Canada). I know that there are problems with date formats in QIF files and that it must match your regional settings, but I am also having a problem where items that should be "charges" are showing up as "credits". My money account is set to account type "credit", and an example QIF file looks like this: !Type:CCard D04/09/03 N320032500380202050 T50.0 POUTBACK STEAKHOUSE #OAKVILLE ON M09046776 ^ This item shows up as a credit. Playing more with it and placing a -ve sign in front of the 50 turned it into a charge. Not to mention I want to operate with a MM/DD/YYYY date format and this is using DD/MM/YYYY. This was all working 3 weeks ago. Any idea what may have changed (I think I re-connected to passport, could this have done something?) Thanks Peter |
