The update starts and runs for 5 minutes or so, then I get a message that
says something like "unable to update account, this may take several minutes.
If this takes longer than 5 minutes try again or contact support". I tried
the chat, but that is not available for support.

When you do UpdateNow, what happens? Is there an error indication,
or just no transactions?

I am having the same or similar issues. I have merged accounts in the past
and everything was fine. But as of 10/13, my accounts stopped being updated.

If you did not do the procedure for third-party downloads after the
July 19 update, I would do it now.

I have been having the exact same problem for just as long. I was able to
get one update Friday the 19th then it didn't work over the weekend then
today it took almost 10 minutes for it to update.
I have two different accounts it was trying to check my CU and my 401k.
I tried repair and that didn't work I even uninstalled and tried from new
and that didn't work.

Log in with your Live ID at
https://moneycentral.msn.com/banking...ts/manage.aspx to see if
third party connection has been happening and if transactions are
available.

If you bought Microsoft Money Plus Home & Business you can go to
Help-> AboutMicrosoftMoney, and write down the Serial number. Go to
http://support.microsoft.com/money and proceed from there. After
clicking Money 2007, note the Contacts item which will lead you to
"Contact a Support Professional by Email, Online, or Phone."

Default "Connect to bank" broken

I have been unable to download transactions online for a week now. My
bank and my ING savings both fail every time. All I get is that "Your
account information is being updated, which may take several minutes"
message. But no information is ever downloaded.

I have moved my file to several computers with different connectivity
and nothing. Prior to October 11, I had no problems for several weeks
(and it has worked fine for years with each upgrade).

I am using Money Plus Home & Business. Any ideas? Thanks.
