| Thanks for the quick response but the problem is related to my address being a Mail Boxes Etc address I was told. The order gets held by their computer due to a fraud alert. I am using my mailing address that my credit card has on file. There is no fraud involved. And I can't get through to the right person to tell them that. Why they need my address except to put through the charge is beyond me. I am trying to download, not get a cd. I don't know how far you got. You might consider adding> I am trying to purchase Money Plus thru the Microsoft website to get the > rebate. > I enter all of my information and get a page that says "unable to process > order, check your information and try again". > I have contacted "Microsoft" (disguise for Digital River) and am told that > the "accounting dept" has if fix it and to try back in 24 hrs. Consider creating a new XP or Vista user, and use IE7 as that user. That way IE7 would have default settings. You might try Firefox. |

| I am at my witzend with Digital River. I am trying to purchase Money Plus thru the Microsoft website to get the rebate. I enter all of my information and get a page that says "unable to process order, check your information and try again". I have contacted "Microsoft" (disguise for Digital River) and am told that the "accounting dept" has if fix it and to try back in 24 hrs. This has been going on since 10/10/2007. I've tried escalating to a supervisor who tells me the same thing. Today a supervisor was able to get the order cleared and told me to try again. I asked the supervisor to try for me. She got the same unable to process message that I did. After "checking" with the accounting department, she tells me that there have been too many attempts and that I should wait 24 hrs and try again! I have had enough! Does anyone know who to contact at Digital River or even the real Microsoft in order to complain? I've tried contacting the real Microsoft and can only get tech support numbers. Please help! I know I am spending too much time for a rebate, but don't feel I should have to go to Best Buy and pay full price. I'd also rather not wait until the boxes with the "rebate sticker" start showing up on store shelves. I hope none of you have to go through this. |
