Hi Kevin,

I use my Microsoft Works Database program to convert Investment data I can
only acquire in csv form.

First, I exported my Investment account from Money in Loose QIF form, opened
this file with NotePad to view how Money configured the information.

Then, in the Database program, I configured it so only identical information
is output when it creates it's QIF file. The reason for this is because the
cvs file I receive contains a lot more info then Money wants to have.

I suggest you compare a exported Money investment QIF file with one created
by xl2qif.

I have never used XL, but expect it can be configured to output required
info
similar as I can configure Microsoft Works (simple) Database program.
