| Believe me--I have tried many times to import or open my previous file. Money seems to want to find a .qdf file but the file that Money converted from Quicken is a .qif file and Money doesn't want to look for that file extension. Aside from loading Quicken again and going through a conversion and Money making it a QDATA file, is there anything at all that I can do? Or do I just need to devote several hours to putting in each investment transaction again? Make sure the file is not in your "Program Files" folder. Put it in> computer I had converted a Quicken file and tried to import that file your Documents/MyDocuments. Don't use File-> Import. You can use File-> Open. - quote - > but it > would not copy into the Money on the the new computer. | I have purchased a new computer and loaded Money 2007, However on the old computer I had converted a Quicken file and tried to import that file but it would not copy into the Money on the the new computer. I have tried to import my stock info from Buy and Hold.com but only the balance from 9/12 has been brought over. Per the Help section on Money I should be able to change the Account Settings to include a Cash Transactions file but there is no such check box on the General settings on the Account Settings page. So my question is--is there any way to bring in all of my previous buy, sell, splits and dividend reinvestments without having to enter each and every transaction from the year 2000?!!!! |
