I downloaded this year and immediately burned it to a CD, including
the confirmation email. I have a lightscribe CD burner and recorded
the relevant code numbers in the label.

Costco is offering Premium today at, I believe, $39.99, plus shipping.
Buy.com has Deluxe at $48.99. If you're new to Google Checkout and pay
through them, they'll discount the price $10.

Costco took it down from their site for a few days last week, but it is now
back . They do this frequently.

BTW...Money Plus Premium version is listed on CostCo's website under
"business", instead or the personal finance category.

I'm holding out for the Deluxe version. I've seen it at local BestBuy's and
OfficeMax, but there are no rebate details, so I assume(?) it's still full
price until we get closer to the end of the year and tax time when they try
to bundle it with TaxCut(yuck!) ?

The only place I've seen the version available with the rebate is online w/
Microsoft in download-only format...altho, I've heard too many horror-stories
in previous years/version to jump on that ship...I'll just try and be patient

As per my comments before, Plus is NOW available at Costco but only
online. I expect it to be available in their warehouse stores as part
of the next stage of their marketing plan for this year. Steve

Looks like it is back at Costco, but after shipping and tax it is $55 for
me. Too much when I can download Deluxe for $30 after rebate. My 2005
version's online functionallity is set to expire 10/31 so I have some time to
shop around. Even after that I could use the trial version for a while.

Microsoft has tried a different marketing strategy this year. First
they tried selling Plus directly online thru a third party. Second,
they are selling the product via retail companies on line only. I
assume the next wave will be at the retail stores in time for the
holidays. Since Quicken is already out there, I expect Plus will be
there soon. I'll be buying just like I have for the past 12 years.

I've never seen it at Sam's either, which seems unusual. Since I'm on
version 2006, I'm hoping 2009 will be a good one.
