In the investment transactions register, add a fake Dividend
transaction. Look for Money to ask if you want to undelete the
investment. You do. Then delete the fake dividend.

I did both levels, and the problem persists. In fact the level 2 repair log
shows nothing was repaired. Any other ideas? Thanks much, WF

Start with File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair.

If no joy, do File-> RepairMoneyFile-> StandardFileRepair level 2.

Default some investments are missing from the investment list

I'm using MS Money Deluxe 2007. Recently when I was playing with reports I
found something very weird. When I ran the "performance by investment
account" report on an account, I noticed quite a few transactions were
missing from the report, and therefore the "realized gain/loss" figure was
grossly incorrect.

I looked at the report setting and made sure all dates and investments were
selected. The result was the same.

I looked at the account register of that account, and all the transactions
showed up in the register.

Then I noticed that, in the account register, when I right mouse clicked on
an investment that does show up in the report, one of the available menu
options was "Go to investment: XXXX" where XXXX is the name of the
investment.
On the other hand, such a menu option was NOT available when I right mouse
clicked on an investment that does NOT show up in the report.

I then went to Portfolio Manager, and selected "show closed positions" under
"change portfolio view". I noticed that none of the investments underlying
the missing transactions showed up on this list of positions.

I'm baffled. Looks like a bug to me. At least it's not consistent. Any
ideas?

Thanks much,
WF
