You do. Then delete the fake dividend. - quote - > "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: > > In microsoft.public.money, WF wrote: > > > > I'm using MS Money Deluxe 2007. | I'm using MS Money Deluxe 2007. Recently when I was playing with reports I found something very weird. When I ran the "performance by investment account" report on an account, I noticed quite a few transactions were missing from the report, and therefore the "realized gain/loss" figure was grossly incorrect. I looked at the report setting and made sure all dates and investments were selected. The result was the same. I looked at the account register of that account, and all the transactions showed up in the register. Then I noticed that, in the account register, when I right mouse clicked on an investment that does show up in the report, one of the available menu options was "Go to investment: XXXX" where XXXX is the name of the investment. On the other hand, such a menu option was NOT available when I right mouse clicked on an investment that does NOT show up in the report. I then went to Portfolio Manager, and selected "show closed positions" under "change portfolio view". I noticed that none of the investments underlying the missing transactions showed up on this list of positions. I'm baffled. Looks like a bug to me. At least it's not consistent. Any ideas? Thanks much, WF |
