If Premium, are you using Essential or Advanced Registers and Bills?

Default Money Plus (2008): How do I get an electronic payment to be a transfer?

I have set up a simple account to track the payments we've made on a
personal loan to a friend. I entered an electronic payment (via MSN
BillPay) and sent it off to the person. However, Money Plus (2008) did not
record that as a transfer from our checking account and tracking this into
the simple loan account that I've made up.

First question, in the future, how to I make it do that?

Second question, how do I enter the amount that I've paid, via BillPay, into
the loan account, without it trying to make another transfer out of our
checking account, like it wants to do?
