| Thank you Bob. I do have one more questions. Can I simply continue to use US version there and import data from various US banks? What about nationwide? I have accounts with them, can I use my US version to import? Thank you. | Like Quicken Money is heavily localised by Region. So the latest UK version is Money2005. The UK Banks (apart from Nationwide) do not directly work with Money. You can go to their web sites and download a file which you can import into Money. Bill paying has to be done on the Bank web site and you have to manually enter the Bill into Money. This is because the UK Banks want to be in control of the user interface (and the adverts). If you are planning to return to the States at some time, I would buy a copy of the latest US version before you leave the USA as you can't buy one in the UK. That way you will be able to use the money data file in the latest US version when you go back. As the UK Version is some years behind the US (UK = M2005; US = M+ aka M2008) I would recommend a US version. BTW do NOT buy Money Essentials - it won't convert any previous file - Money or Quicken. HTH -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. I do not respond to any emails that I have not specifically asked for. | Hi, I am currently a Quicken user an have been with wuicken for over 8 years. I am really happy with it. Since I plan on moving to UK next year, I just found out that Intuit no longer have UK version of quicken. This is not forcing me to move to a different product. Are Money US and UK products compatible? I like to do online-banking extensivly so instead of just using a US version in UK, I rather have a version that can connect to banks etc. If Money is not the product I want, can anyone recommend the best product that people in UK use? Thanks. |
