I am running XP Pro SP2 so I assume I don't have whatever DEP is.

I have a program called Starter.exe that allows me to prevent certain
processes from running. When my machine locked up after using money I
noticed that WindowsSearch was using 51% of my CPU and just staying at
that figure. At the same time CTL-ALT-DEL showed that Money Plus was
not responding. I removed the check in Starter preventing WindowsSearch
from running and since then I have not had Money Plus freeze the
computer. Perhaps WindowsSearch had something to do with the freeze
problem. I need to run Money Plus more to make sure it has quit freezing.

Several questions:

Did you upgrade a data file from a previous version? How long are you
waiting? Have you tried this in the Sample file? Are you running on Vista?
Do you have DEP set for all apps in Vista?

Money Plus Deluxe freezes every time after I input a deposit to my bank
account. Ctl-Alt-Del shows that money is not responding and I have to
exit out. This is a consistent problem. Norton Fire Wall has been set
to allow Money so I doubt Norton is causing the problem. Money simply
stops responding. Anyone else having this problem? All help will be
appreciated. Just bought the program yesterday.
