| They accidentally "expired" a bunch of M06/7 earlier this week. Try starting Money several more times. Each time let it run until it gets its own updates. That I don't know, unless you upgraded to an older version, like> continue getting on line services. Why? > Dan in CR 2006 Standard. I just upgraded to Money Plus Premium and it said that my subscription to online updates would be two years after the date I activated it or sometime in 2010, whichever came first. If you upgraded to one that had a "or sometime in 2007, whichever comes first" it wouldn't matter if you installed it yesterday. If you have a newer version and really think this is a problem, you could contact MS, but unfortunately, their error reporting mechanism for Money on the support.microsoft.com site has been down for at least a week and half, or at least it has for Money Plus. I've been trying to report a problem since installing Money Plus. - quote - > "Ed Hansberry, MS-MVP/Mobile Devices" wrote:

No, the updating function is a service that you buy with the> account data. When I get this stupid banner that I must upgrade. F*$% You! I > will not, this is a function of your software like printing! So I will > upgrade to QUICKEN!!! Okay! A$$%*^%'s! software and it is good for 2-3 years after you install it, depending on the version. I think the high end version gets 3 years and the lower end versions get 2. You agreed to that when you pressed "Ok" on the EULA. It is a way for MS to get users to move to new versions so their servers only have to deal with maybe 3-4 versions at once instead of worrying about how Money 95, 97 and other old versions work differently. Quicken does the same thing if I recall correctly. -- __________________________________________________ ________________________________ Ed Hansberry (Please do *NOT* email me. | Please tell us your data migration strategy. Oh, and Quicken enforces time limits on online services as well. If they didn't do it, Money wouldn't do it.
