Default RE: upgrading 2004 to 2007 -- on-line banking and other questions

See my comment "Forced to Upgrade!" Get Quicken. I have had Money since 95 as
well.

Default upgrading 2004 to 2007 -- on-line banking and other questions

I've been a user of Money since 95, and this month updated from 2004 to 2007
-- not because I wanted to, but because the meter ran out. And I have a
couple questions.

First, I have a credit card and loan at the same bank. The loan has never
downloaded before, but now does it not only download, it set up a new account
all on its own. But it's set up as a credit card account, not a loan, making
separation of principal and interest impossible. I can't merge it into the
correct loan account, and if I try to delete it, it warns that it will delete
all other accounts from the same institution! Huh?

Second, formerly the payment of this loan (from a different institution)
downloaded and matched the bill with no problems. This time the payment
downloaded from the other bank, but it didn't automatically match like
before. Not only that, but if I manually try to match it, the loan payment
(from Bills Summary) isn't an option. It is still listed correctly under
Bills Summary, however.

Third, what happend to the really cool bills and cash flow diagrams under
the individual account registers? That was really nice to have it in one
screen, specific to that one account. I think the spending thermometers used
to appear there as well sometimes.

Fourth, I finally found out where to disable the automatic quotes update
each time I started the program. Seems the default should be off, especially
if it was in the old data base.

Thanks for any help.
