Default Re: Buy - Sell Graph

Thanks Scott for the information. MARK EVENTS did the trick. Funny though
that when I checked the feature in my Money 2005 copy, the feature appeared
in Money 2008. Seems the feature was there all along without my knowing.

Better to ask..... Thanks again

Where are you not seeing the B and S markers?

If you're not seeing them anywhere (Reports Gallery or Portfolio), you have
to do a manual price update for the date(s) in question, delete the "Online"
price(s) for the day(s) activity happened, and then go back to the account
register and edit the buy/sell/reinvest transaction(s) to place buy/sell
date(s) in the price history. You may only want to do this for buys/sells
that are two weeks or older, as Money will likely overwrite anything within
the last two weeks with the "Online" price the next time you update, sending
you right back to square one.

If you're seeing them in the Reports Gallery, but not when you try to access
the price history from the portfolio, you have to rightclick anywhere on the
price history chart and select "Zoom". This will add a "Customize" link to
the left margin. Click "Customize", and then click to check "Mark Events"
on the Chart tab.

Default Buy - Sell Graph

Sometime ago in Money 2005 I found that the graph display did not display a B
(for Buy) and an S (for sell).

A wise MVP sugessted a fix for the problem in editing the transaction to fix
the problem. The problem was solved following that suggestion.

However, now that I have upgraded to the latest and greatest, the B and S
markers are not displayed in the graph and I forgot what the suggestion was.

Any Ideas ?

Many Thanks.
