Default Re: Is BofA an online bank in Money 2008?

Actually it is the other way around. An account based in Georgia should
have the capability of direct download. However, once you move to WA your
account should still be in the state where it was opened.

You do need to contact Bank of America to have your account set up to allow
the download. With Money 2006 the connection with BoA was via Yodlee as you
mention. With 2007 if connected with most of the BoA accounts directly, but
you had to authorize that through the bank. I do see Bank of America on
both the 07 list and the 08 (Plus) list.

All I can say is with direct connection to BoA I have been very pleased with
both 07 and Plus. I to had extreme difficulties with the earlier Yodlee
connections.

Hi Art,

My account is based in GA although I am moving to WA. I am not so concerned
about BofA credit cards but rather BofA bank statements.

So from what I read are you telling me that BofA accounts based in WA have
the online download capabilities?

Thanks again for your help.

Direct connect download to Money has not stopped working for me

It worked in 2007 and has continued to work in Money Plus(08).

However I am in Virginia and do not have any credit cards with BoA that I am
trying to download.

A long discussion occurred about BoA in CA, ID, and WA now being available
via direct download when you use the Bank Of America (All but CA, ID, WA)
selection. I can not comment on that but it is in the history of the group.

I have seen issues with credit card downloads but do not know if they were
resolved.

Both 07 and Plus list BoA alternatives.

Please provide information

1) what state is your BoA master account in.
2) are you talking checking, Credit cards, or investment services.

The BoA web site has information on the automatic download to Money. As
pointed out this has a monthly fee (or a qualifying type of account). Also
it is still possible to simply log into their site and manually download an
OFX file. If your only connection is via CashEdge/Yodlee you might want to
try that approach as it is more reliable and I have found faster.

Default RE: Is BofA an online bank in Money 2008?

This isn't a limitation on Microsoft's side. B of A previously provided
direct connection with MSMoney for a monthly fee. I don't think they even
offer it anymore.

Usually what I do is every few days, I log on, go to one of my accounts, and
hit the 'download' link that is above the ledger. It creates an ofx file on
demand and I've had no problems with it at all.

logon to your account [at] B of A and click help at the top - scroll down and
click on "using online banking" for more details.

Default Is BofA an online bank in Money 2008?

I've used Money 2007 and Bank of America is not an on-line bank with Money
2007. You still have to go through some convoluted steps and sometimes the
balances don't match with Yodlee (sorry spelling may be in correct).

Has this improved with Money 2008?
