It's Impolite not to respond to those nice People who take the Time to help.
As of now this is a dead subject. This was one of many problems encountered
after my install of Vista. I ran out of mental resorces fixing one problem
after another. It was an upsided down Pyramid. Fix one two new ones pop up.
Fix those and find four more, etc, etc,. AAARGH! I threw in the Towel and
reintalled XP. I may still have the problem, but I'm in the midst of
restoring all my old programs. thanks for the Input.

If the account is downloading, there is a setting somewhere in
Tools|Settings that will essentially auto-balance to match the downloaded
data. Balance is also not available for Essential Register,added at M05, and

First, I would do File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair. It may not
be needed, but it won't hurt.

Go to AccountList and click the account. In the left column, click
BalanceThisAccount.

If you don't see that, consider setting
Tools-> Settings-> AccountSettings(global)-> DisplayAllAccountsInTheAdvancedRegister

It's about all versions/editions of Microsoft Money. But it's kinda like
calling the auto dealer looking for an auto part. We need to know year and
model to help.

I just switched to my new computer last week. Restored all the data from Usb
memory chip, and even entered a few ransactions in the last couple of days.
To day my checking statment arrive and i wanted to balance the account. Alas!
There is no selection on the left side of the screen that says balance this
account anymore. Where'd it go, and why can't I find it?
