| Thanks, Wildlight, for the heads-up on the spending tracker. I'll try that. I have been a Money user for at least 12 years, so you can imagine that I have a huge file. Don't know if that's the reason, but my home page is taking 10 minutes to display. I consider this unacceptable behavior and have started a case with Microsoft to get it fixed. Meanwhile, I'll lose the spending tracker, which I really like! "Wildlight" wrote: - quote - > Just converted to M+Deluxe from MD2006, running on WXP, and experienced the > extremely slow startup. | Just converted to M+Deluxe from MD2006, running on WXP, and experienced the extremely slow startup. Using your suggestion I dumped Bills & Deposits and Spending Tracker from the home page. The performance returned to expectations. Adding back Spending Tracker slowed down performance to unacceptable levels. Dumped Spending Tracker. It seems ludicrous to have to go thru the exercise of uisng less than the software's potential! I would first go to Tools-> Settings-> ProgramSettings and set the> smoothly except for the Money Plus Home Page. It was the same Home Page as > my previous version of Money (2007) only the same page in Plus takes every > bit of 15 seconds to come up. All other pages seem to come instantly. Ideas > anyone? (GeneralDisplay StartMoneyWithThisPageOpen:Accoun tListThat should speed up starting. Then Tools-> Settings-> HomePageDisplayOptions and Remove the BillsAndDeposits and SpendingTracker modules. If you still have slowness when you go to the "home" page, remove all modules. If the problem goes away, you can add things back and judge the speed tradeoff. |

| Hi all - Recently upgraded to Money Plus and everything seemed to convert smoothly except for the Money Plus Home Page. It was the same Home Page as my previous version of Money (2007) only the same page in Plus takes every bit of 15 seconds to come up. All other pages seem to come instantly. Ideas anyone? |
