"Don't do that." I am not kidding. It is a known issue with Spending Tracker on the home page, and the fix is to remove it from the home page, and it may or may not be fixed in the next version. "Doctor, it hurts when I do this." "Well, don't do that." -- __________________________________________________ ________________________________ Ed Hansberry (Please do *NOT* email me. No, because it works fine when I remove the Spending Tracker, and> related to the problem Money is having in displaying the home page? > For example some conflict with some other running application (AV, > anti-spyware, firewall, printer utility, "default" browser, etc) > -Mark I tried twice to submit using IE7 and Money wasn't even loaded. MS is just having a problem on their site today for Money error reporting. - quote - > "Ed Hansberry, MS-MVP/Mobile Devices"

| I'm wondering if the problem you had with submiting a support case is related to the problem Money is having in displaying the home page? For example some conflict with some other running application (AV, anti-spyware, firewall, printer utility, "default" browser, etc) -Mark "Ed Hansberry, MS-MVP/Mobile Devices" <spamfree-silvernino[at]hotmail.spambegone.com> wrote in message news:1sd8f3tf61rqf636gch4m1pd9e0kksde5e[at]4ax.com... - quote - > "Dick Watson" <littlegreengecko[at]mind-enufalready-spring.com> wrote: > > There seems to be an accumulation of reports on this issue. | There seems to be an accumulation of reports on this issue. They are unlikely to work it unless lots of support cases get opened. You ought to open one. | I just upgraded to Money Plus Premium over 2007. The home page takes several minutes to load and Money shows (not responding) in the application title bar until it does load. If I remove the Spending Tracker, which only has 5 accounts on it, it returns to its relatively zippy performance that Money 2007 Premium had. I ran a Standard File Repair and that didn't help. There must be some sort of bug introduced in Plus that 2007 doesn't have in this regard. My PC is plenty powerful - 2.1GHz, dual core, 4GB Ram, Vista Ultimate. I've seen a few other posts on this at http://www.google.com/search?q=spend...x=&startPage=1 so I am reasonably confident this isn't just my problem or some corruption in my money file. -- __________________________________________________ ________________________________ Ed Hansberry (Please do *NOT* email me.
