| Evidently I'm just an idiot. It wasn't availble in the sub categories to add, so I started poking around more and found that for some reason a couple of the insurances I'd added were under Irregular Expenses instead of Committed Expenses like the other Insurance items. I'm not sure why it split them up, but oh well. Thanks for the help! | "Insurance: [all other]" would only pick up items categorized under Insurance, but with no subcategory. Are you using an advanced budget? money://navigate/newadvbgt Type that into address in money. It should let you add the subcategories you've added. At least in 2007 deluxe it lets me. Ed Simmons wrote: - quote - > I setup a budget last night and ran into an issue. | I setup a budget last night and ran into an issue. I have categories under Insurance for Dental, Vision, etc. These aren't options to add in my budget like Health and Personal Accident are, so I added the "Insurance: [all other]" item assuming it captures any sub item under Insurance that's not already an individual item in the budget. For some reason I get no actual amounts for the "Insurance: [all other]" item though. I can verify amounts are going to these sub categories from my paycheck properly via other reports, viewing that sub categories transactions, etc. Is my assumption of what the [all other] items are incorrect? Or has anyone else seen this potential bug? |
